A show worth seeing

I just got back from an interesting exhibition at the Maison de la Culture Japonaise à Paris, De Kuroda à Foujita – Les peintres japonais à Paris.



Predictably, perhaps, the stuff by Foujita is the most interesting, but there's a lot of fascinating history here, in terms of the development of Japanese painting and the adventurous artists who left Japan to study in Paris. 

I was a little disappointed with how small the show was, but then again, it was free...
